At Rabbit Creek Dental, we see a lot of patients who've put off care because they assumed they couldn't afford it without insurance. The truth is, there are real ways to make dental care work on any budget. Here's what we offer.
The RCD Dental Savings Plan
This is our in-house membership plan, designed specifically for patients without dental insurance. For $336 per year, you get:
- Two dental exams
- Two professional cleanings
- X-rays as needed
- Discounts on restorative and cosmetic treatment
There are no deductibles, no waiting periods, no claim forms, and no insurance company telling us what we can or can't do. You pay a flat annual fee and we take care of you. It's not insurance — it's better in a lot of ways. Insurance companies add middlemen, delays, and fine print. The RCD Dental Savings Plan is a direct agreement between you and our office.
Who is it for? Patients without employer-sponsored dental benefits; self-employed individuals; retirees who've aged out of dental coverage; anyone whose insurance doesn't cover much anyway. Enrollment is done in office. Payment is made in full at the time of enrollment.
Cherry Financing
For bigger procedures — implants, crowns, dentures — the savings plan discounts help, but you may still have a balance to pay. That's where Cherry comes in. Cherry financing is a patient financing program that lets you split your treatment cost into monthly payments. It's quick to apply, and many patients are approved in minutes. We use Cherry because it's flexible and works for a wide range of credit situations. Ask our front desk about Cherry when you come in for your appointment.
PPO Insurance — We Accept Most Plans
If you have dental insurance through your employer or marketplace, we accept most PPO dental plans. That includes Blue Cross Blue Shield and BCBS ALL Kids for younger patients. We do not accept Medicaid. If you're not sure whether we take your plan, call us and we'll check before you come in.
What If I Just Need One Thing Fixed?
We get it — sometimes you just have one tooth that's bothering you and you don't want to commit to a whole plan. That's fine. We'll see you, give you an honest assessment, and let you decide what you want to do. We don't push unnecessary treatment. Dr. Gegzna will tell you what he sees, explain your options, and let you make the call. If something can wait, we'll tell you. If it needs attention now, we'll tell you that too.

Dr. Joseph Gegzna, DMD is the founder and lead dentist at Rabbit Creek Dental in Mobile, Alabama. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and has been a licensed dentist in Alabama since 2014, with more than 12 years of experience in general, restorative, and implant dentistry. After several years practicing as an associate, he founded Rabbit Creek Dental in 2022 to build the kind of patient-first practice he believed in. He has completed advanced implant training through a 92-hour Implant Pathway program with live patient surgery and additional surgical training in impacted third molar extractions through the Koerner Center for Surgical Instruction. He is a member of the American Dental Association and is currently in his third year of the Bulletproof Dental Mastermind program, a continuing education group focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience. Before dentistry, Dr. Gegzna was a licensed pilot, bringing a calm, detail-oriented approach to patient care. Rabbit Creek Dental serves families throughout Mobile.
