RCD Dental Savings Plan

The RCD Dental Savings Plan includes two comprehensive exams per year, two professional cleanings (routine prophylaxis), one emergency exam, one oral cancer screening, all necessary X-rays, and 20% off all additional treatment. The plan is $336 per person per year, paid in full at enrollment. There are no claim forms, no waiting periods, and no annual maximums on the discount.

For restorative work like fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, implant restorations, and other treatment, the plan gives you 20% off our standard fees. The plan does not prepay for restorative procedures, but the discount applies to everything.

Yes. If you enroll at your new patient visit, your benefits are active immediately. There is no waiting period. You can use your first cleaning and exam at the same appointment where you enroll — or at any time during your plan year.

No. This is one of the biggest differences between the RCD Dental Savings Plan and traditional dental insurance. Insurance plans often require you to be enrolled for 6 to 12 months before they will cover certain procedures. With our plan, benefits start the day you enroll.

The plan is designed for healthy patients who just want affordable preventive care and a discount if they ever need treatment. Most of our savings plan members are people who are diligent about their dental health but don't have insurance coverage — they come in twice a year, stay on top of things, and appreciate knowing exactly what they will pay. You do not need any outstanding dental problems to join.

The 20% member discount applies to all treatment not already included in the plan — fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, implant restorations, dentures, clear aligners, teeth whitening, and more. It applies to our standard fees at the time of service. The discount does not stack with insurance benefits — the plan is designed for patients paying out of pocket.

A deep cleaning — clinically called scaling and root planing — is a different procedure from a routine prophylaxis cleaning. It is used to treat active gum disease and involves cleaning below the gumline in a way that a standard cleaning does not. Because it is a separate clinical procedure with a different billing code, it is not included in the plan's two covered cleanings. However, as a plan member you receive the 20% discount on scaling and root planing. If you come in for a cleaning and we find signs of gum disease, we will explain exactly what we found and what treatment would involve before anything is scheduled — you will never be surprised by a different procedure than you expected.

The plan is paid in full at enrollment and is non-refundable. We recommend using your benefits before your renewal date. Yes — Rabbit Creek Dental welcomes patients with or without insurance. We accept most major PPO dental insurance plans, but we also offer the RCD Dental Savings Plan for patients who are uninsured, self-employed, between jobs, or whose insurance does not cover much.
