- There's a way to make dental care work for almost any budget
Cost is one of the biggest reasons people put off dental care. We get it. Treatment isn't always cheap, and it rarely comes at a convenient time. But here's what we've learned: waiting almost always makes things more expensive. A cavity becomes a root canal. A root canal becomes an extraction. An extraction means you need an implant or a denture. We'd rather help you find a way to afford care now than see you back in a year with a bigger problem. Here's what we offer.
Option 1: Cherry Financing
Cherry is a patient financing program that lets you pay for dental treatment over time in monthly installments.
How it works: apply in minutes — most patients get a decision quickly; choose a payment plan that fits your budget; start treatment right away, pay over time. Cherry works for a wide range of credit situations. It's not a credit card — it's a dedicated healthcare financing tool that many patients find more flexible than traditional financing options. Ask our front desk about Cherry when you check in. We can walk you through the application process right at the office. You can also read more about insurance and financing on our dedicated page.
Option 2: RCD Dental Savings Plan
If you don't have dental insurance, our in-house RCD Dental Savings Plan is the most cost-effective way to stay on top of your dental health. For $336 per year, you get: two dental exams; two professional cleanings; X-rays as needed; discounts on restorative and cosmetic treatment. No waiting periods. No claim forms. No insurance company in the middle. Just straightforward care at a reduced cost. Enrollment is done in office, and payment is made in full at the time of sign-up. The plan covers one person — call us to ask about options for families.
Option 3: Dental Insurance
We accept most PPO dental insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and BCBS ALL Kids. If you have dental benefits through your employer, we'll verify them before your appointment and let you know exactly what's covered. A few things worth knowing about dental insurance: most plans cover preventive care (cleanings, exams) at 100%; basic restorative work (fillings) is often covered at 80%; major work like a crown, implants, or dentures is typically covered at 50%, up to your annual maximum; annual maximums are usually $1,000–$2,000 — after that, you pay out of pocket. We do not accept Medicaid.
Combining Options
You can use these options together. For example: use your PPO insurance to cover cleanings and basic work; use Cherry financing to pay your remaining balance on a crown or implant over several months; add the savings plan if your insurance runs out before year-end. Our team is good at helping patients find combinations that work. Don't be afraid to ask.
What's the First Step?
Call us or book online. Tell us you want to talk through your payment options before scheduling — we're happy to walk through everything with you before your first appointment. We serve patients from Mobile, Theodore, Grand Bay, and across the Gulf Coast area.
