Dr. Gegzna grew up near Omaha, NE and graduated from the University of Nebraska with his degree in Aviation Management. After 6 years as a pilot he decided to pursue his interest in health care and went to dental school. After graduating from the University of Louisville in 2014, he moved to the Mobile area, where he has worked in a variety of offices over the last eight years. Dr. Gegzna has also enjoyed serving as a dentist at the U.S. Embassy, the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center, and Balad Air Force Base in Iraq. Dr Gegzna enjoys seeing patients of all ages and appreciates providing a variety of dental services. He strives to help his patients feel at ease, and provides care that exceeds expectations by carefully listening to patient concerns and discussing all treatment options available.
Since moving to the Tillman’s Corner area 4 years ago, Dr. Gegzna, enjoys boating on Dog River and Rabbit Creek, going to the beach, cooking pizza, and doing yardwork. He is married to his wife Arlee and they have two dogs – Lacy a toy poodle and Whiskey a goldendoodle. They are amazed at how Tillman’s corner has developed since they moved here and are looking forward to being a part of this community as it grows and thrives—so much so that Rabbit Creek Dental has teamed up with Mobile Baykeeper to benefit our patients, our community, and the environment!
Marissa started her dental career in 2016 as a dental assistant and went on to attend hygiene school in 2019. Dr G. was her sponsor! One of her favorite things about dentistry is the relationships you make with people. Marissa works hard to show everyone kindness and make sure everyone knows that Rabbit Creek Dental is a judgement free zone. In her spare time, she likes exploring new places with her husband Jake. She loves finding hole in the wall places to eat – coffee shops, bakery shops, etc! She loves thrift store shopping and spending time with her mama and Jack and Rosie (her dogs). She is expecting her first baby (it’s a boy!) in May of 2023.
Shannon started her dental career in 2017 as a dental assistant and then went on to hygiene school at UAB in 2019. She loves being a part of a patient’s journey to loving their smile and regaining confidence. At Rabbit Creek Dental, she strives to make all patients feel comfortable during any dental procedures. Her passion is hygiene, but she still enjoys assisting Dr. G with treatment from time to time. When she is not at work, she is probably busy spoiling her 2 dogs – Jace and Josie. They enjoy going on walks or playing with stuffed animals. When relaxing, she enjoys reading or indulging in some reality tv shows.
